I started booking with Layden Lake Outfitters in 1998 and have returned ever
year since for a moose or woodland caribou hunt. Over a typical week I see
approximately 50 moose, 70 caribou and some big black bears while spotting
for that right trophy. Game is plentiful and I enjoy a full day out with
the guides overlooking the vast interior of Newfoundland. There are four of
us returning this year to one of the fly in lodges and are again looking
forward to the down home hospitality we always receive. I highly recommend
Layden Lake Outfitters to bow or gun hunters who really enjoy the hunt. If
you are the type of hunter that enjoys calling in a bull moose yourself or
making a video as the guide makes it happens, this is a must place to go.
